  Meet Calvin and Denise

Calvin Iwema, a partner with Executive Allies works with executives and high potentials in both one-on-one and group formats.  He has spent the last 10 years consulting with individuals and teams to increase their career and personal effectiveness.  Besides his corporate work, he has practiced as a licensed psychological counselor in private practice.

Calvin’s unique strength is the perspective and experience gained from inside corporate America as well as from a therapeutic and academic perspective.  This allows clients to bridge the gap between bottom-line business results and their own inner landscape. Calvin’s depth of approach is coupled with a vigilant focus on translating self-understanding into sustainable behavior change and impact.  Clients then not only understand their behavior and communication patterns, but use this awareness as the foundation for change.

Before beginning to his corporate consulting and therapy career, Calvin worked inside corporate America in the fields of enterprise software sales and internet consulting.  Prior to this, he worked as an arbitrage clerk and commodity trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Calvin holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and an undergraduate degree in Economics from The University of Illinois at Chicago.  He is also a graduate of Coach U Coaching University.  Calvin has practiced as a licensed counselor in the State of Illinois and a member of the Illinois Counseling Association.
